Gordon Scully Joins RiceRace
RiceRace announced today, that 22 year old Gordon Scully, from Chicago will join the team for the full season of F1600 competition. Gordon joined the team for SCCA events at Homestead and Sebring in January, and got up to pace quickly, and showed well against racers with much more formula car experience. While attending Lake Forest College, Gordon had visited Road America for numerous track days, and developed an interest in racing competitively. Gordon had a 4th, 5th, 6th in his Florida race starts.
"We are excited to bring Gordon into the RiceRace team and join Thomas and Will for the 2022 season" reports team owner Greg Rice. " We built this team with club racers and Masters drivers, so it is not a requirement that you need to be a teenaged karter to drive our blue Mygales. Gordon impressed us with his serious approach to his racing, and we will work hard to help him progress as a racer. It should be fun!"
