Andrew Dobbie Returns for Mid-Ohio and PIRC

March 14, 2019

Andrew Dobbie to join Rice Race Prep for the two F1600 Championship Series events in 2019.

Andrew Dobbie joined Rice Race Prep for the American Road Race of Champions last November, dominating that Formula F event with a 12 second margin of victory. Andrew will return for the FRP F1600 Championship Series for the 6 races held during the events at Mid-Ohio on June 28-30, and Pittsburgh International Race Complex on Aug 2-4.

Andrew has support from Dowco Consultants, Culley Creative, and has recently announced new sponsor Madison Street Capital. Madison Street Capital is an international investment banking firm committed to integrity, excellence, leadership and service in delivering corporate financial advisory services, merger and acquisition expertise, financial opinions, and valuation services to publicly and privately held businesses. Dowco Consultants is a service company specializing in 3D modelling, Steel Detailing and BIM Services.

Andrew is a 25 year old from Langley, British Columbia, who in 2017, began racing F1600 in the BC area. "Andrew will be busy in 2019" reports team owner Greg Rice. " He will be running his own F2000 team program in the NWFC Series on the west coast. We had hoped to run Andrew much more, but the FRP and NWFC schedules were impossible to coordinate, so these two events are literally our only options. Hopefully all that track time will offset the travel and car differences, and Andrew will enjoy our outings together. He was impressive in Atlanta in November".

Andrew joins previous announced drivers Burton Kyle August, Simon Sikes, and Misha Goikhberg on the Rice Race Prep roster. Expect several more announcements this month. Rice Race Prep continues efforts to fill in open events for their #06 and #13 Mygale entries, which will carry Susiuhl.com sponsorship, for the FRP F1600 Championship series. Susi Uhl Art creates quality art productions ideal for wedding, shower, or general gifting. Rice Race Prep will also be servicing other F1600 races in SCCA and in Canada. The team will be running cars at the SCCA Runoffs and can run more in F1600, F2000, or other classes. For more information, contact Greg Rice at RiceRacePrep@gmail.com
