Formula Race Promotions Kick Off 2024 Season This Weekend
The first green flag of the 2024 Formula Race Promotions (FRP) season is this coming weekend at the famed Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. In a jam-packed event weekend that will see F1600 and F1600 Masters, F2000, and Atlantic competitors all racing alongside Trans-Am and the SVRA program, teams and competitors will look to start their 2024 campaigns off on the right foot in Braselton, Georgia.
“It is the start of a new race season, and it is exciting,” expressed Bob Wright. “We have a solid schedule at some of North America’s premier racing facilities, news teams and new drivers joining our program, a solid entry list, and a lot of excitement for a new race season. Our staff has put in countless hours behind the scenes to make this the best FRP season we can make it.”
Registration for Road Atlanta is still open for any last-minute entries who want to come to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere and a competitive, but affordable race program.
Wright continued, “As a series, we work hard to provide the best bang for the racers’ buck. With a lot of track time and more green flag racing laps than most other series, our drivers gain the experience needed to advance to the next level. We have more than 50 competitors entered for Road Atlanta and are expecting that number to increase as we approach the race weekend.”
