Formula Race Promotions Kicks Off 20th Anniversary Season at Road Atlanta

The 2025 Formula Race Promotions (FRP) season will officially begin next weekend at the iconic Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, marking the 20th anniversary of the series. This action-packed event will feature F1600, F1600 Masters, F2000, and Atlantic competitors, all eager to kick off a new season of wheel-to-wheel racing.

“We’re excited to begin another season,” explained Bob Wright, Owner of the Formula Race Promotions program. “This milestone year brings a solid schedule at some of North America’s premier racing venues, with new teams and drivers joining the program. Our entry list is strong, and everyone’s enthusiasm for the upcoming season is contagious. Our team has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this season the best one yet.”

Registration for Road Atlanta remains open for anyone looking to join the action.

Wright continued, “Our goal is to deliver the best value for our racers. With extensive track time and more green-flag racing laps than many other series, we help our drivers gain the experience they need to advance to the next level or just get a great event at a great track. Close to fifty competitors are entered for Road Atlanta, and we might get a few more as the weekend approaches.”
