Formula Race Promotions Registration Opening Soon

With the 2025 Formula Race Promotions schedule confirmed, registration is set to open on February 1st. With a seven-event program featuring historic tracks and a return to an old favorite venue, the registration program will look slightly different in 2025 than in previous seasons.

“We have made some minor changes in our 2025 process, but one welcome change is that FRP participants no longer need to be SCCA members to race with us,” explained FRP’s Robert Wright. “This goes for staff, drivers, and crew, making the overall registration, licensing and hard card  process a little easier.

The Formula Race Promotions program will still require drivers to have the FRP Pro license by a drivers second series event but will accept SCCA licenses for their first event, and for an indication of driving ability. FRP crew cards are available at no charge with an application, and are strongly encouraged for crew planning to participate in more than one event weekend.

Wright added, “We are still putting the finishing touches on a few minor details and will have all registration links established and communicated by February 1st, or earlier.”

Along with registration news forthcoming, FRP will be reviewing all the rules for the 2025 season. If a team or competitor would like to request a rule change, please submit that request to Clay Hutchison via email to clayh@racefrp.com before February 1st.
