Goikhberg Enters Two Rounds with Rice Race Prep
Rice Race Prep will be running Misha Goikhberg in the FRP F1600 Championship events at Road Atlanta and Watkins Glen.
Misha raced the Watkins Glen event in 2014, finishing 7th in Race 1 and winning race 2. Fast forward to 2018, and the IMSA Prototype and TransAm driver was scheduled to race the RRP Mygale at the FRP F1600 Watkins Glen event. After pacing testing, Misha was caught out by a puddle on the first lap of qualifying, crashing badly, and never turned another lap. "We have some unfinished business with Misha in FRP. Hopefully, he can get away from the feast or famine results" comments team owner Greg Rice. "Misha will be turning the #13 Mygale over to some other notable drivers, for the balance of the season, and we expect to visit the podium on a regular basis."
The #13 RRP entry will join the #07 Monro entry of Burton Kyle August for a full season effort in the FRP F1600 Championship Series. The RRP team continues efforts to fill the #06 RRP entry which will carry Susiuhl.com sponsorship. Susi Uhl Art creates quality art productions ideal for wedding, shower, or general gifting. Stay tuned for more driver announcements for both the #06 and #07 RRP entries, as well as the SCCA Runoffs. Rice Race Prep will also be servicing other F1600 races in SCCA and in Canada. The team will be running cars at the SCCA Runoffs and can run more in F1600, F2000, or other classes. For more information, contact Greg Rice at RiceRacePrep@gmail.com
