Grillo Leads TeamAWARE in Support of National Fibromyalgia Month

May 10, 2016

K-Hill Motorsports driver Jenna Grillo will be honored at the Watkins Glen F2000 race by the National Fibromyalgia Association as she races in support of the 100 million people in the US living with pain. TeamAWARE a dynamic collaborative effort is made up of Jenna Grillo Racing, the National Fibromyalgia Association and the Community Pain Center, which will be working to bring awareness and support to pain sufferers everywhere. Grillo knows what it is like to live with pain as she was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia when she was only nine years old. With the support of TeamAWARE, Jenna wants to share the message that people in pain can get better through healthy living and finding a purpose bigger than their pain!

Grillo who will be on the track at the F2000 race at Watkins Glen on May 13, 14 and 15 says, “I am so happy to be joining K-Hill Motorsports again for round 3 and 4 of the F2000 Championship Series! I am very happy with the progress we made during my debut weekend at Road Atlanta and I can’t wait to see how we do at Watkins Glen. This race is extremely important to me because it’s during Fibromyalgia Awareness Month, which is a really big deal for me since I have fibromyalgia. This will be my first event as a national spokesperson for the National Fibromyalgia Association and the Community Pain Center.  I want people with Fibromyalgia to know that a happy life is possible despite chronic pain and that you can’t let your pain stop you from living your life to the fullest!”
