Jackson Lee to RRP for F1600 Debut at Summit Point
Jackson Lee will make his F1600 Championship Series debut with Rice Race Prep at Summit Point Motorsports Park for the August 23-25th event.
Jackson is a 16-year-old junior at Avon High School, just outside of Indianapolis, IN. After success in .25 midgets and karts, Jackson is in his first season racing cars. After winning a scholarship in the Cooper Tires Karting Shootout last December at Sebring, he is contesting the full season in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Series. At the midpoint, he is 2nd in points with wins at Mid Ohio and VIRginia International Raceway. Jackson was also recently named a Team USA Scholarship nominee. Jackson has been supported by Subway of Hobart/Valparaiso, IN, Caldwell Realty, Jackson Hewitt of Hobart, IN, Hinchman Racewear, Lee Marketing Services, and Rising Star Racing.
Rice Race Prep will run Jackson in their #18 Susi Uhl Art Blue Mygale, joining teammate Burton Kyle August in the #07 Monro Mygale. The RRP team has won races in 2019 with Misha Goikhberg, Alex Scaler, Andrew Dobbie, and double F1600 PIRC winner Simon Sikes.
